Time Series Insights is releasing a new set of IoT capabilities in preview that enable you to harness the value of IoT data to generate business-critical insights. The new features include:
A scalable, performance-optimized and cost-optimized time series data store that enables a cloud-based IoT solution to trend years’ worth of time series data in seconds.
Semantic model support to describe the domain and metadata associated with the derived and non-derived signals from assets and devices.
A significantly enhanced user experience that combines asset-based data insights with rich, ad-hoc data analytics to drive business and operational intelligence.
Integration with advanced machine learning and analytics tools like Databricks, Spark, Jupyter notebooks, and more to help you tackle time series data challenges in new ways.
Today we’re pleased to announce three new Time Series Insights (TSI) explorer capabilities that we think our users are going to love.
First, we are delighted to share that the TSI explorer, the visualization service of TSI, is now generally available and backed by our SLA.
Second, we’ve made the TSI explorer more accessible and easier to use for those with visual and fine-motor disabilities.
And finally, we’ve made it easy to export aggregate event data to other analytics tools like Microsoft Excel.
The connected factory preconfigured solution leverages Azure services including Azure IoT Hub and the new Azure Time Series Insights. Furthermore, it leverages the OPC Foundation’s cross-platform OPC UA Net Standard Library reference stack for OPC UA connectivity as well as OPC DA and other OPC Classic protocols via the use of the included wrapper, as well as a rich web portal with OPC UA server management capabilities, alarms processing and telemetry visualizations.
Today we are excited to announce the public preview of Azure Time Series Insights, a fully managed analytics, storage, and visualization service that makes it incredibly simple to interactively and instantly explore and analyze billions of events from sources such as Internet of Things. Time Series Insights gives you a near real time global view of your data across various event sources and lets you quickly validate IoT solutions and avoid costly downtime of mission-critical devices.
